The group is doing well. We are almost ready to start the cutting to do the Hardanger Parts. One problem some have had, which I have explained to them right from the beginning, You cannot turn your fabric and cross stitch the floral design on the side. You X's will not go in the same direction. It is very important to make all your X's in the same direction on any cross stitch pattern. When you turn your fabric, (unless you turn it upsidedown, your stitches will be going in another direction and it is noticable.
Anyone working on pieces like the Emie Bishops, please be careful.

More and more people are signing up for the fiber clubs. It is a great way to increase or start a new fiber. I'll be setting up shortly the Gloriana Silk Floss Club.
The clubs are a great way to build your fibers without a great expense. All fiber clubs are discounted and mailed free. I ship these out around the 15th of the month. You may cancel at anytime by giving me a 30 day notice. Please email me if you are interested or call me at 352-589-4500.

I want to thank all that came in for the Superbowl Sale. I believe everyone had a great time. Jane Jones won a ceramic Tea Pot in the first Drawing and Jennifer Nardiello won two designs. We had lots of food and some great laughs. Hopefully next year more will join us.

The gals that took the Alpine Garden Class have survived. They really enjoyed the class. They learned several new stitches during this project. Now they want to tackle the Emie Bishop Christmas Quilt. We will be starting this December 4, 2009 and try to work on it every Friday thereafter. This project is a Hardanger Design that is absolutely gorgous.

I've been working on The Christmas Works by my Big Toe. Of Course, I did change most of the colors. It has been fun doing this project and I'm about three quarters of the way. You can see me working on this project most days of the week.
If you want to change colors on a diagram and are not sure how to do it, feel free to ask. I will be happy to assist you with your projects.

We have several gals who are stitching the Mary Wigham Sampler from needleprint.com.
Some are doing the sampler in DMC, Crescent Silks, and other fibers. You need to come in a see all the variations we have going. They are all beautiful.
This Sampler is a free pattern at needleprint, com, this is part of Ackworth School Collection.
You really should come in on a Wednesday or Thursday when the girls are in stitching this design and see their interpretation of this Sampler. It is amazing!

I am able to get Lizzie Kate, Kustom Kraft, Little House Needleworks and Waxing Moon.
You may go online to www.hoffmandis.com and see the designs that are available and let me know what you would like for me to bring in. I was not able to locate Hinzelt. If you have more information, I will be able to look into it.
I am looking into more clubs. I just need to find a good series to set one up. If any of you have an idea for a Club, I am open to suggestions.
